La suite de l'histoire d'Alex et d'Angel. Là encore j'aime beaucoup le style d'écriture de Kathleen Aymes. Le seul reproche que je pourrai faire serait que je n'aime pas trop la nature possessive d'Alex. ( )

Oh Angel, I want to strangle you so much of the time!!

Angel seriously needs to learn that having someone care enough for you that they want to do anything to help and protect you doesn't make you weak.

But Alex, I freaking ADORE Alex. He is another one of those men that is a complete and total whore, but when the right woman comes along...he is all in. He goes all protective/Alpha/caveman...but in a sweet way.

Alex wants to protect and care for Angel.

Angel wants to prove that she can take care of her own damn self.

They both are hiding things.

They both need a lesson in honesty and how relationships work.

Kahlen Aymes has done a great job of creating these characters and keeping them true to themselves throughout the series. So many times characters become completely different people as books move on. Alex and Angel never do. Yes, they grow...but they are still THEM. I really appreciate that, because I know it's hard to do!

If you have read Kahlen's earlier works you know she is a great writer. However, having read many of her books I can see the growth she has gone through and can tell you that she is absolutely writing at a much higher level now. Her earlier books were good, her writing now is great.

If you haven't yet, go meet Alex and Angel. They are characters worth knowing. Even if they drive you to drink with some of their choices! ( )
