I have been hooked to this series from book 1 and the series got better and better with each instalment. Sadly The Turquoise Tower is the final book in the series but this book wraps everything up and WOW it was a fantastic ending to a fantastic series. I love the magic and fantasy and the writing, detailing and descriptions are so great that I felt I was living the storyline myself.

The siblings, well three of them are still in search for Amber, will they manage to rescue her though? There is so much more happening in this book and things that didn't make sense in previous books now make sense. It all wraps up properly without the let down feeling at the end.

I have really enjoyed this series and I really love Travis Simmons writing style. I will definitely be looking out for more books from this author in the future. ( )

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

The Turquoise Tower is book six and the final book of The Revenant Wyrd Series. This novel continues where book 5 left off. The Lafaye children along with Maeven, Shelara, Caldemon, and Russell are headed to the Turquoise Tower, but first make a stop at the city of angels, where they battle a rephraim. Meanwhile Grace, Dalah, Roselee and the Guardians make their way to the Ivory City with Mag and Astanel in tow to prepare for the battle of their lives.

This was a bittersweet moment for me as I loved this series so much. As much as I wanted to read the outcome, I’m truly saddened to see it end. These were characters I’ve been completely intrigued by and I hated to see them go. I saw them grow into strong courageous people. Once again, Travis Simmons doesn’t disappoint! There’s nonstop edge of your seat excitement, it was very hard to put down. All of our questions are answered and I was even surprised by things I didn’t see coming. What more can I say? This was an amazing epic fantasy about good versus evil, one I’m sure everyone will enjoy!

Alas the end has come. As I turn each page I dread it and am excited to turn the page. I know the end is coming and I want to know what happens but I don't want to say goodbye to all the marvelous characters I have encountered. I can honestly say you should read this series. Your life will be better for it, because you will have had the chance to get to know all these fascinating and multi faceted characters. I shall sorely miss Joya, Amber, Jovain, Angelica, Grace, Maeven, and all the other lovely people I encountered in this series. Do yourself a favor and read this series. And Hollywood, get on the ball and make this a movie. ( )

Here's my honest opinion: This series isn't exactly the best I've ever read, be it the plot, the character development or the writing. There were times I was really, really tempted to just throw the book down and walk away. But I have to admit that the end was good. There was a point in Book 5 when I got really, really annoyed because it felt like A Song of Ice and Fire by GRRM where Arya keeps making for Riverrun but never gets there. In this series, the siblings are forever looking for Amber but never finds her. Well, at least they found her at loooooooooong last. And it was quite an encounter. I can't say that I'm pleased with this book overall but I'm definitely happy with the ending and some times, I guess that's really what matters in a series, so all is well. ( )

This is the last book in the series and I was happy to see what happened to the characters but also sad because as I said this is the last book. I have enjoyed watching how these characters played out and what happened to them along the way. I have a huge imagination and this series has really fed into it. I was glad this last book answered any questions I had from the rest of the series. I was not left wondering or wanting to know more. Travis Simmons pulled the series together well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. ( )

I’m sad to see this series end. All of my favorite books have been part of series except for one and the feeling’s always the same. The Revenant Wyrd saga definitely goes out with a bang. . . and undead. Because what more could a girl ask for in a grand war? While I do feel like the end of the book wasn’t what I was hoping for, I don’t feel let down at all. If I always wanted happily ever afters I’d read romance novels instead. Unlike a couple of the earliest installments in the series, this one can not be read as a standalone book. There’s a lot more information about the family shared that I just don’t think would make sense without all of the pieces of background shared throughout the series.
