I am liking McFarlane, despite how lengthy she is for women's fiction. She's not a Kinsella or a Colgan, but she's solid. Loved the variety of characters in this, and though the copy doesn't speak of it, Delia takes a fascinating PR job for an eccentric oddball after having spent many years working for a city council and the work dynamics were some of the most intriguing. Sometimes felt like the pieces were schlepped together, but overall quite good. ( ) Delia has built her life around Paul and happily so. But when a stray mistake reveals his infidelity, Delia is thrust out on to another trajectory. Coping simultaneously with the grief of her loss and the excitement of rediscovering the girl she used to be, Delia feels her way towards a future she didn't anticipate but that is still full of good. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
