Cooper uses language that is appropriate and easy to understand for young and old. His knowledge of how a thirteen-year-old boy’s mind works adds credibility to the story. The characters are easy to relate to and one can easily visualise each one of them while reading. Cooper’s unusual plot relies on his ability to play with words in such a way that the reader can’t keep from turning the pages. The ending of this story leaves room for a sequel that will surely impress fans and leave them begging for more.
