A sweet little interval between the 1st and 2nd books. It was very short and free on Amazon. ( )

Alienated was one of my favorite reads of 2014, so I was super excited to hear that Melissa Landers published a free short story about Aelyx and Cara! I downloaded it the day it came out and read it asap. Trust me when I say it doesn't disappoint. Okay, maybe it does a little just because it ends before you know it, and you're left anxiously waiting for Invaded again. Thankfully, Landers was kind enough to leave an excerpt of Invaded at the end which will hopefully hold me over until February. Wait, February?! That's like two months away! *Flails*
I need more of Aelyx. He's one of the swooniest aliens I've ever read about. Okay, I admit I don't read many alien books, but he's up there with Daemon for me so that should say a lot. I mean, the guy stayed up all night to recreate Christmas for Cara! Talk about cute! Why didn't I get an Aelyx for Christmas? So yeah, everyone should read Alienated because it's amazing and you'll love it. Then you should read Until Midnight because it's free (who turns down free books?!) and you get more of Cara and Aelyx! Then after that, you can fangirl over Aelyx and wish for it to be February already ;). ( )

This was a short and cute novella. Aelyx was being very sweet while Jaxen was increasingly getting my attention. I'm very curious about that boy. I liked Aelyx in the last book but their "love" for each other is very fast. Who knows what will happen in the future? I can't believe Troy is leaving again! Will I never know this boy? ( )

Until Midnight is a short story and it’s obviously a quick read. It connects Alienated and Invaded, which will be released in February. The love story between an alien and a human continues and I’ll admit it, my curiosity is piqued.

Cara and Aelyx are pretty adorable. It’s enjoyable to be able to read about how much people love each other. I’m also a fan of the progress of their relationship. Until Midnight is basically a small moment in their lives and shows how their relationship is progressing. It did increase my curiosity about what will happen in Invaded. I’m dying to know if they’ll be separated throughout or if something will happen to bring them together towards the beginning (the story is more interesting when they’re together).

Until Midnight was really sweet and I think it was a nice addition to the series. Based on what happened, it’s not a must-read to stay caught up, but if you liked Alienated and are planning to read Invaded it’s worth reading. I would recommend Until Midnight, if you’ve already read Alienated.
