Henrietta has to have one hundred eggs for the Easter Hunt that Farmer Johnson has invited the town's children to. How will she do it? The hens are exhausted, and they are only halfway to their goal. She decides she has to ask others to help. Who does she ask?

I enjoyed this book. Henrietta is running around trying to get the eggs. She finally decides she must enlist others to help her and the hens. I found it interesting who she asked for help as she needed help with the laying, the dying, and the hiding of the eggs. She managed to do it. I especially liked her last helper. It was imaginative.

This is a good book for your toddlers and early readers. ( )
