This short book was well written with simple but satisfactory plot and characters. ( )

This is a great, quick read. Action and adventure with a bit of humour thrown in. I'm looking forward to more Jake Corby stories and more of Al's work, in general. ( )

A fun and short story. I would like to see this developed into a longer full length novel, it certainly has the flow and plot that would do a full length novel justice. ( )

First read of this author. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Is it high-brow literature? No. Is it just good fun story-telling? Yes. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a light, dry wit, fun read. But I must add, the final space-based situation had my heart pounding. Which, frankly, surprised me. I'll be looking for his other offerings. ( )
