Well, from my very very brief glancing at the words in the the story description (as in I didn't even skim it, I just looked at it), and from the opening of the story: the story is a game show involving contestants who have to answer questions right. If they do, they get big money. If they don't, the get transformed. I remember a game or story I'd played or read like that, vaguely.
Okay, that sounds kind of stupid. What the host says. Not the concept, no, but what he says. That they have to answer one very easy question. And if they get it right, they win $500,000. But to get to that question, they have to answer ten other questions. So, um, that's a eleven questions, right Jim? Sure, the prior ten involve "tricky questions, and each one they put their body and mind on the line". Still, eleven tricky questions, and one super easy question. But I do not have a problem with the author for this. Because game show hosts seem to like to say stupid things, so . . ..
Bah. Okay, I can give a pass, or maybe even praise the author for a dim witted game show host. But . . . first, the game show host says "mind in tact", when he should have said intact. And then Carol, the contestant, says "I'm an officer worker from Boston". What, please tell me, is an "officer worker"? Oh? An office worker? Okay then.
Carol knew she had to get her right answers in easier, if she managed to beat the downward spiral she’d be on the path to victory. (Kindle Locations 38-39). - I do not know what is being said here. Right answers in early? She had to get her answers right, and if she did so, she would manage to beat the downward spiral? Okay, I'm just confused.
I'd normally just let this pass, but this is a transformation story. It will be harder to 'watch' the transformation, the 'plummeting IQ' if there are 'issues' early on with the story.
Hmm. Why is it that bimbo transformation stories always seem to go for blond? *shrugs* You can be a 'bimbo' with pink hair. Or brown. Or blond. Or red. Or . . . etc. You also be pretty damn smart with blond hair. But . . ., bah, whatever.
Gah. "A or B would leave her wobbling around and needing either a collecting of new tops or panties." A collection. Not . . . a collecting. bah.
Hmm. Another strange one - it actually ended at 100% on the Kindle. So many seem to end at, like, 89%. ( )
