Summary: This book is about a boy who was born the fifteenth child out of seventeen in his family. Benjamin Franklin, who was named after his uncle, was a man of wisdom. He was very creative at what he did. He soon went to school but his dad did not have enough money to put him through college. Once this happen he then began to work in a newspaper shop with his brother. Because his brother kept talking about the government in his newspaper clippings, Benjamin had to take over. He married his wife Deborah and had two children. One of his children died 4 years later from small pox. At the age of 42 Benjamin retired from business and became more interested in science especially electricity. He became very known for what he did even his slaves was proud.

Personal Reaction: The effect this book has is me, is that it showed a brief introduction to all the great things Benjamin Franklin did for himself, his family, and others around him. He was a very smart man, it made me think of when I was younger and all the great ideas and ambitions I had. The one thing he did not do is give up even when he knew his family did not have the money to put him through school he kept going.

Classroom Extinction: 1.) I would explain to the class who Benjamin Franklin is.
2.) I would ask the class if they had one thing to invent for the world what would it be.
3.) I would make the class explain to everyone why they picked that invent and how would it change the world
