A compelling and insightful way in which one may learn the beautiful language of Punjabi. Mr. Kalra has created a legacy in which he allows even the reader to participate, enriching the mind of any who may encounter him. The book, Teach Yourself Punjabi, is the best of the range, in my opinion, as it allows the reader to understand both the language and culture of all aspects of Punjabi. Many books, created to teach Punjabi, fail to incorporate the entire aspect of the Punjabi language, which does not just start and end with India in any means. Mr. Kalra teaches the language like no other mortal has ever begun. I truly wish I could have met this genius of a man, but I feel as though I meet him time and time again as I open up any of his works. Thank you. ( )

I have always been interested in learning Punjabi as I had been brought up hearing it around me. I picked this book up a few months ago, and since then have been learning. The book itself is engaging, interesting and extremely helpful. I am on the way to being fluent in Punjabi! I have also picked up many of Mr. Kalra's books and have enjoyed these greatly. I thought learning Punjabi would be a good idea. I lived in Birmingham and most of my patients spoke Punjabi, some of them didn't speak English. I didn't get very far, but it was interesting.
