The most striking aspect of this short story is that it wasis told in the second person. I have not encountered much literature written from this point of view, and was immediately pleased by it. Considering the desolate nature of the landscape in which the main character is located, this point of view contributed to a "video game" feel to the start of the story, which might appeal to a younger audience. The story built up a good deal of suspense right away, and took a couple of surprising turns at the end. Overall, a satisfying read. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

The end of the world as we knew it took place with only one survivor left. This is part one of a four book series but can be read as a standalone.
I received a complimentary kindle copy from Amazon. That did not change my opinion for this review. ( )
