In this story Beatriz and Russ, who met on a hot blind date a while ago, unexpectedly meet again when Bea asks for a guide to lead her to some wild Penstemon she needs for her lab experiments. Bea is prickly and cold…or is she…perhaps she is just analytical and curious but without people skills. Russ is a people pleaser with a superhero wannabe character. The two will have a LOT of time together on the trail, meet some interesting characters, deal with danger and there will be pain. The question is whether or not the two will realize they care for one another and then be willing to take the steps required to be together after the hike is finished.
Thoroughly enjoyable! I look forward to the next installment in this series!
