Useful for helping students understand telling time to the minute, as well as a fine example of a cumulative tale. Beautiful but surreal paper-cut illustrations. It all starts with a mouse. The cat chases the mouse, the dog chases the cat, the dogcatcher chases the dog.... Somewhere in the middle of all that, a bank robber who is chasing the dogcatcher who accidentally grabbed the money he stole, gets chased by the policeman, and they all run into the grocery man and go back to where they belong. And it all happened from 6:00 am to 7:00 am. I thought the story was an attention grabber. I wanted to see who was going to start chasing who, next. The pictures looked almost 3 deminsional, like a collage, and showed a lot of movement and dramatic expressions. This would be a great story to use when talking about time. Also, when talking about people in the community and how they help each other. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
In this cumulative rhyming story, a cat runs after a mouse in the middle of the night, giving rise to a more complicated chase. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
