Dr Khan has been on the front lines of the fight against pandemics his whole career and he has seen what we have accomplished and how our failures have happened. A mix of big picture stuff and personal anecdotes. Does go a bit leftist on politics (anti-climate-change, anti-inequality) vs. strictly scientific, but overall a great book. ( )
