It is an easy fast read. I didn't catch any editing errors and the story flowed well. There is an awesome shower scene at the end.
Honestly though, my favorite of this series is still the prequel, Desert Hunt. I realize this was a short story, but I had hoped for more. I just didn't feel the connection with Ty and Lana that I got with Zach and Rae. The prequel was so good!
It seems that something is missing in these last 2 books.
You may think I didn't enjoy these last two books since I gave them both 3 stars. But I did like them. I just didn't LOVE them.
There appears to be 4 short stories for Desert Wolf and you can get the entire collection on Amazon for 2.99 at the time of this review. You will find it listed as Desert Wolf: Complete Collection: 4 Twin Moon Ranch Short Stories (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch).
Desert Blood (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch #2) is the actual second book. I will probably skip the rest of the Desert Wolf shorts and read Desert Blood next.

~ 4 Desert Wolf Stars ~

Desert Wolf is book 1.5 in The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch by Anna Lowe. Anna Lowe is a fantastic writer. Desert Wolf was a sweet short novella, thats fast-paced, with strong characters, and passion.

I liked this novella in The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch. It takes us back to see Lana and Ty, 2 years into their mating, as they go and visit Lana’s family. It’s about a man, Ty, proving himself to his mate and her family. It had my attention from beginning to end.

Desert Wolf is best read after book one [b:Desert Moon|25066650|Desert Moon (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch, #1)|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1425445374s/25066650.jpg|44582047], since it deals with our main couple Lana and Ty from Desert Moon. I highly recommend this series to PNR fans who love werwolves, action, and heart-stopping romance.

Meeting Lana's family and old pack isn't as easy as a "hello" and hand shake. Nope, Ty has to prove himself. Gee....sound familiar? Lacrosse? Shifters with long sticks. How can that be a good idea?

Unlike Arizona, there are other types of shifters in the Berkshires and Ty meets one the hard way. Well, maybe the easy way for a shifter. Who would have thought that those kinds of shifters even existed?
