The snow is coming down so fast, Amelia Parsons doesn't see the speeding car until it's too late. One moment she's crossing an ice-rutted street in St. Stephens, Maryland. In the next, she's flying into the air, and the world goes black. She wakes, confused, in what appears to be Santa's workshop during the holiday rush. If that's not strange enough, a hunky FBI agent named Daniel is there, demanding to know why she's involved in a plot to ruin Christmas. Amelia and Daniel meet outside Santa’s Workshop. She is disoriented from being hit by a car then nearly hit by an avalanche. Daniel is where he is to help Santa solve a mystery that might impact Christmas and Amelia is there to help him. There were some twists and turns and a bit of romance with a different sort of ending that provided a potential for a future between Amelia and Daniel.
The story was very short and due to that there was little room to develop the characters or put much into the story. It was an okay quick read for the holidays that might make a better movie than it did a short story. It would be fine in a bundle with other books.
