Pretty good story showing the development of the two newest Green Lanterns from Earth, Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz.

I'm interested to see what happens with this new rogue guardian and his special ring, as well as the planted rage seed, so I'll keep reading. ( )

Hal Jordan, el Linterna Verde más conocido, ha proclamado a Simon Baz y Jessica Cruz como los nuevos 'Linternas Verdes', protectores de la Tierra. Ambos novatos, ambos con sus propias inquietudes.

Jessica, tras un suceso donde fallecieron algunos amigos, empieza a sufrir de ansiedad y se encierra en su apartamento por 3 años. Simon, por su parte, recibe su anillo estando en la cárcel (otras historias, otros libros) y siempre se ha sentido perseguido debido a su nacionalidad (libanés).

En Green Lanterns no solo tendremos una pareja de héroes tratando de aprender el trabajo, sino que también ambos sufren sus trastornos y, a la vez, deben intentar llevarse bien.

Es el mejor momento para que Atrocitus y sus Linternas Rojas intenten invadir la Tierra.

Green Lanterns Rebirth Vol. 1 encierra el primer One-Shot de la serie y los 6 primeros ejemplares, lanzados en el 2016.

La historia estuvo escrita por Sam Humphries y en el arte veremos nombres tales como Ethan van Sciver, Ed Benes, Jason Wright, Robson Rocha, Jay Leisten y varios más.

Green Lanterns, más que las típicas confrontaciones entre héroes y villanos, también cuenta historias personales; donde el miedo, coraje, ansiedad, prejuicios y demás afectan a algunos de los personajes y como éstos deben enfrentarlos primero antes de pasar a males mayores.

Lanterns es un sólido arranque de una serie que promete mucho. Muy buenas historias, excelente arte, colores vivos y una pareja de héroes con buen futuro para DC. ( )

That was really, really Rage-y. Not surprising considering the title. But even with the title I didn't think that this TPB would have quite so much rage in it.

Still, once I got past the rage it was an interesting TPB. I really like the two new Green Lanterns, Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. They both have what Hal Jordan hasn't had in quite a long time. They have room for their story to get interesting and twisty and turney. They're both messes who have to put all that aside, work together, and save the world. And messy characters mean interesting stories.

In this TPB they're going against the Red Lanterns. Trying to stop the Red Dawn from happening while they're also learning how to use their rings (Simon even gets some new powers as well.)

It was a fun TPB, and I look forward to seeing what's going to happen next with these two.
