Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. This is the story of undersea friends. The characters are cute and appealing but the stories don't do much for me. I don't really like the color palette (turquoise and yellow) and do not find the characters endearing. But I am not the audience! I will have to try reading it with a child and see if the book appeals to them. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

I loved getting to read a previous arc for Narwhal and Jelly, and then to follow that deep enjoying up with buying copies for my nieces and nephews, so I was over the moon when I saw the next volume had been added up on here.
I loved the first story about superheroes, but my favorite before I hit a large hitch was "Narwhal, You're A Super Star!" I loved hope helpful he was trying to be, coming up with many options, and then how it had to do, whimsically, with wishing. My heart swelled at the joke about shooting stars, too.
Sadly, as of page 48-50 the pages (but it was several pages of turning on the ipad) are choppy and mixed together wrong and I can't tell what the rest of the story was supposed to be. Then, again, from 56-57 (but, again, 4-5 pages of ipad turning).
I do love that the last page makes the most important super power being "super" to your friends. I will look forward to buying this copy to follow up the next ones and seeing a finished copy of this one with the edit errors. ( )
