When Henry moves from the city to a small town, he meets new neighbors, including an eerie man who stands outside the gate each night. As the spring turns to summer, Henry has dreams and something like visions about another Henry, who was a WWII flyer and loved Dottie, a sweet old lady who lives next door. Henry also meets kids from his own age -- and era -- some nice (Simon!) and some challenging (Grace!) Henry is not happy when his family moves from London out into the country. He doesn't think he will make any friends, until he meets Dottie, the great-aunt of his next door neighbor. They become friends, but meanwhile David keeps having very real dreams of a man also named Henry. As he works to unravel the mystery, he learns how to fit in with his new life. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

This story made me sad. Near the end. Was not expecting it! gah!
I wouldn't really consider this a ghost story. It doesn't feel like one.
I like books with WWII elements in them. I don't know why. ( )
