Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was a cute story. So we have Summer who was getting out of jail for embezzlement, she is ready to start her new life. Waiting for her is Nik, who claims that he wants to reform her, so that she does not start stealing again, he was upset that she stole from him, after he felt that they had a connection, three years ago. Summer does not want anything to do with him, but he does not give her a choice, that is where the blackmail comes in, if she does not work for him, he can turn over the information to the police and she can go back to prison, and she is petrified. They are both really attracted to each other, and trying to fight, not really, they claim they are, the same day, they attack each other, but they do go back and forth. And when she finally thinks she might have a chance at happiness, her past catches up with her, and what is going to happen? Well my friends you have to read, and while she was in jail she ends up making friends with two other woman, one has a story, falling for the bad girl, I don't think Darcy's is out yet. we shall see.
