While I did not read Being Brooke, I found Catching Carly to be quite funny. The characters are well developed and great friends. The banter back and forth is hilarious. Brooke and Carly are best friends, Brooke is married to the other best friend Cain. Carly is the third wheel.

My favorite part in this book is Carly’s grandmother’s birthday party, if I can be that spunky when I am her age, I’m all for it. I want to live in her retirement home for sure.

One thing I found lacking was the future, maybe an epilogue, I want to know what happens after the HEA between Zeke and Carly. For that I can only give 4 stars. I will be going back to read Being Brooke very soon.
