"Card" means an unusual and amusing person. At first,Denry was an ordinary person who was working in a lowyer office. One day,a big party was held, but he was not arrowed to go to the party becouse only rich people in the city could go there. However he invented the invitation and he became famous thanks to an incident at the party.
I admired his vitality and his wisdom. And I envy his luck. All of his plans seems reckless plans, but they succeeded.I want to get chances like his and change my life. ( )

Bursley in the five towns has a card.
Denry begins life in a poor little house.
But before he is thirty, he made a lot of money.
The town of Bursley don't stop talk about him.
I amn't intrested in his life.
I thought this book was boring,monotonous story. ( )

This story is successful story. There was a man who was very poor.
However he was really a quick-witted man, so he had been making money efficiently. Then he became famous for his success and he was called "THE CARD"...

This story is very interesting. I like this story. I admired his quick wit and fearless character. I think if a man who is said smart do the same, the result won't be same as he. ( )

If you want to be rich, how do you do?
Edward Henry is not only lucky but so clever.
He is the card and this is his successful story.
I can't live like him greedy but to take a chance is important.
So I recommend this story. ( )

What do you need for success in your life?
Denry who appears in this book has a lot of luck.
It is good, but I don't think just having luck can be successful.
He come to get a lot of money though he was a poor before. ( )
