This was the first time reading this author. There were parts of the story that worked really well, other parts that had potential, and then there were the parts that completely took me out of the story. It was those parts, the ones that weren't plausible ((sexy times after 3 months of torture or sexy time after a gunshot to the belly), that took me out of the story. I realize this is fiction but this frustrated me because there was so much potential to be more. (
