This wordless picture book tells a story with pictures about a girl named Clementine finding a cactus. She loves it but then her dad takes her back inside so they won’t get rained on. She goes back to it the next day and sees that beautiful flowers have grown on her cactus. ( ) Clementina's Cactus is one of Keats' later books and is unique in the sense that it has no text. However, Keats uses incredibly beautiful and detailed illustrations to tell the story of a young girl and her father. This book could be used for early elementary grades to help them practice telling stories with pictures. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
