Oh My Goodness… This is wonderful. From the very beginning I was hooked and never let go until the very last word. Ketley Allison wrote an amazing romantic suspense book that was everything I was hoping for and more. This is the story with a plot that was phenomenal and a little bit of romance that made the story perfect.

Emme is a heroine. She was kidnapped but never gave up. She pushed her kidnapper, she taunted him, and she stayed strong during the entire time. It would have been easy for her to just give up and hope someone else would save her but she never did that. Although there was one person in her head and heart that kept her pushing to get out, Spence, she kept his voice with her during every step of the way. Spence is the hero of the story. He was difficult, he wanted to be a good guy, he knew it was up to him to save Emme but could he do it? Would he follow the correct clues in time?

To Have and To Hold is an amazing book. I could not put it down, I could not stop reading. This is a suspenseful story with amazing thrills, twists, and turns. This is a book that I will be looking to read again since I know that I will get more from it the second time around. ( )

Chilling suspense
REVIEW: “Problem solving wasn’t only my gift, I thrived off it. Without puzzles, the world around me would be grey. Useless. Bland. I needed to find the tricks and work-arounds, the loopholes and weak spots. It wasn’t just about leaving Emme to the professionals. None of my abilities mattered if it meant I couldn’t help her.” Spence’s career in the D.A.’s office had skyrocketed because of his skills. But when confronted with the brutal kidnapping of his ex-girlfriend, Emme, he was willing to give up everything to get her back. Years had passed since their breakup. To save her, he had to study every nuance of the beautiful woman that Emme had matured into. Pounding suspense and second-chance love are whipped into a frenzy as everyone races to rescue her before a mad man ends her story. This my voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: He was my true love. Now, he's my only hope.
Spence was my first love, my only free fall, my terrible heartache.
Me: shy, quiet, nervous.
Him: outgoing, intimidating, and wild, all the things I wasn’t.
Such catastrophic connection couldn’t last. We split apart—not separated, because that word is so gentle and we cracked in half—and I haven’t seen him in two and a half years.
We aren’t the same; we never were. I made it almost three years without him, I could make it longer.
I became, in one word, happy.
But then...I was kidnapped. ( )
