This is just a nice comfortable series to read. Easy and relaxing while still engaging.
And we finally meet the source of the chewing. For which I was delightfully surprised. ( )

The citizens of Washington Island are facing a crisis. Fiona Campbell, the Chairman of the Town Board, is losing money to fix the city. The fire chief is threatening to quit and her rivals have started a social media accountr to discredit her abilitities.

Pali and his wife are worried about their son's fighting another boy in school. They are considering leaving to expose Ben to a different environment. Roger has a yoga business, which is expanding with the internet. Jim, another resident, has a attraction to Fiona, decides to pursue her when her boyfriend suddenly leaves.

This is the third book of the North of the Tension Line series. It is my first time reading the series. I found it interesting reading about small-town life. I found the characters enjoyable and would like to read the other three books. The part I liked was Fiona's life, the combination of yoga and goats and the way the community stood for one another. 5 again for J.F. Riordan! This series has turned out to be my most pleasant, welcome read in years. This is the third so far, 4 out soon I think, (I had actually missed the publication of this) and following the different characters, people and animals, and comfortable spaces on this tiny island, on a great lake was something I miss the minute I'm finished reading it.
