Follow is a new venture for Tessa Bailey and I am excited to share it. Will and Teresa are victims of circumstance. Will is the son of a mob boss and he has recently decided to stop running the family financial business so he can road trip across the country with his dog. Teresa's brother is now unwillingly working for the mob boss and Teresa will not let that continue. So, she has to get Will to come home in order to free her brother. Seems easy enough, right?
Teresa grew up in Staten Island. Her father worked for Silas (the mob boss) until he managed to escape and take his family to the opposite side of the country. Now both her parents are deceased and her younger brother Nicky is sucked back into the Caruso family. Nicky is all Teresa has left and she will get him back. I admire her determination when it comes to her brother. She puts up a tough front and uses her good looks to get ahead and she doesn't feel bad about that. Will melted my heart from the first time he enters the story. His dog is dying and it makes Will reevaluate his life. Not gonna lie, I almost stopped reading when I discovered the dog was dying. NOT COOL. I totally skipped ahead to prepare myself.
In true Tessa Bailey fashion, this book is smoking hot! Will and Teresa might ignite your kindle. WOW. Plus the danger of their situation... this book will suck your afternoon and you won't be able to stop. Will's utter dominance and desire and love for Teresa is so incredibly sexy. You know that at some point, Will will learn of Teresa's deception. I did appreciate that Teresa told Will as much of the truth as she could because she really had feelings for him. However, you know he will eventually figure it out and its like watching a car accident. You can see its unavoidable and you can't help from flinching in a sense of empathetic pain.
Will and Teresa totally swept me off my feet and I was not expecting it! Trust me, you will want to Follow Will, Teresa, and Southpaw on their journey!
Demolished by Cathryn Fox, Rescuing Kassie by Susan Stoker, Wrecked by JB Salsbury...then you will probably like Follow!
