This is one of the better entries in this series. The whole set up of who the dragon was and how he behaved was different. There was plot apart from just boy meets girl and the final conflict took a bit of an unexpected route. I continue to like this series and I am interested in seeing where things go with Gabe. ( )

At book 6 in the series I would imagine one of the challenges is not to let it get stale.
The mating connection is the crux of this series but the author manages to change things up a bit on this one.
Liam is a very different Drakoni. He has assimilated himself into the human fort, he talks and have human behaviour.
He is resistant to the mating connection for very good reasons.
There is news or progress of the red, female dragons.
We learn more about the history of pre rift and post rift from Liam' s POV as he has denied his Dragon form.
There is also news of the previous couples, one in particular, towards the end, and although it doesn't impact the relationship of the Hero and heroine of this book there is an interesting development.

Great story

This is another excellent story from Ruby Dixon. I love her dragons and Andrea and Liam's story was so great to read. And I'm so eager to find out more about Gabe. ( )
