Evil Eye by Alyssa Day Paranormal cozy mystery. 3rd book (4th counting intro novella) in the Tiger’s Eye Mystery series. Best read as part of the series. 120 pages of paranormal hi-jinx with a Pirate ghost, a tiger shifter and a pawn shop in Dead End Florida. Tess is amusing as always with her love of Jack, donuts, and selling the unusual in her pawn shop. It’s a hoot when the buses stop in. I look forward to more of this wacky little bit of paranormal in Florida. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Onderdeel van de reeks(en)
For Jack Shepherd, tiger shapeshifter and former rebel leader, nothing in life has prepared him for this dead end. Dead End, Florida, to be exact. When swarms of treasure hunters descend on Dead End in search of legendary pirate Captain Jean Lafitte's fabled lost gold, chaos crashes down on the normally quiet town. When the only treasure chests found have corpses instead of coins, Jack has to spring into action. Because sometimes it takes a tiger's eye to see the truth. Tess Callahan, who owns a pawn shop in the strangest town in Florida, is barely over the last dead bodies on her doorstep when her new private investigator neighbor asks for her help again. But it's her town, and she'll take on anybody to protect it. Even treasure hunters, vampire slayers, and the ghost of a certain French pirate who still thinks he's in charge. This is the third in a series. While it isn't strictly necessary to read the earlier books, it does enhance the plot line. The series is just fun; I would suggest starting at the beginning and reading the series. I think you'll enjoy it if you like cozy and paranormal mysteries. ( )
