It's Christmas so time for some of St Mary's finest to take a field trip. Bannockburn, with hordes of well armed Scots and Brits, eagerly meeting each other with mayhem on their minds, why not? How can they get in trouble if they do not leave the pod? Remember, this St Mary's so not a problem for them as once more they go forth to preserve history. ( )

Major Guthrie’s last jump before he retires from St. Mary’s and begins his new career running a pub. (Not, as advertised, an illegal jump.) There’s a jump to Bannackburn to see Robert the Bruce. Something goes wrong. (surprise, surprise)
This was a fun visit with familiar characters with a teasing introduction to new characters. It does end with a Christmas dinner at St. Mary’s, but mostly it wasn’t a Christmas story. ( )
