2307 The Ungovernable Rock: A History of the Anglo-Corsican Kingdom and its Role in Britain's Mediterranean Strategy During the Revolutionary War (1793-1797), by Desmond Gregory (read 16 Jul 1990) This is a 1985 book which is a very competently done account of the British time in Corsica from 1793 to 1797, but I did not think the account of much significance or interest. I think my time might have been better spent than it was while reading this book. ( )
