I liked that after the boy tried so hard to hide the squash plant growing inside of his ear he could only do one thing, take a bath. That was the one thing he needed in order to get rid of the squash plant. What a funny book! Carlos is a boy living in Mexico who doesn't want to wash his ears. His parents tell him if he doesn't wash his ears well a squash plant will start go grow out of them, and a squash plant does! It is a great story with an important moral of why it is important to listen to your parents. I would use this book to teach my students about morals and the importance of listening to our parents. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
