Angel is at the Annex and about to do her first party because she needs the money. She's gotten herself into trouble and is trying to get herself out of trouble. Too bad it doesn't always work that way. I like her a lot. I think that she's somewhat naive, but she has a really good heart, and she seems to bring a lot of joy to the people around her because of that nice heart and sweet core. I also think that she's been buffeted around a little bit, and just gone with the flow.
Damien is just one of those strong steady characters that you can't help but like. It isn't often that there's a male main character at whom I don't get mad at least once in the story, but that never happens with Damien. He's just a steady character that you want to be around, which is totally awesome.
I really enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to more out of this world. (
