Scorching hot, intergalactic romance Disclaimer: I am not usually interested in stories involving aliens or other planets. I prefer the familiarity of Earth and humans. I took a chance on Taken to Voraxia after reading Elizabeth Stephens’ other books. I am so glad I did! From the beginning, this book had my heart pounding and thighs clenching. The sheer desire and heat between Miari and Xoran is off the charts! Taken to Voraxia made me rethink my views on what I like to read. I learned that I care more about the passion and chemistry than the actual setting of the story. Not that the setting wasn’t intriguing. It was. I loved this book! Recommended for lovers of romance, lovers of sci-fi, anyone wanting to escape... geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

MiariBlue skin. Seven feet. Strapped with corded muscle, the aliens have come again but this time, their king is here and he's watching me with hunger.A hybrid with red alien skin and brown human eyes, I've got no family and am not desired by colony men. I'm an inventor, a mechanic, a tinkerer. The alien king seeks to claim me, but he'll have to find me first. Our little colony is a scary, desperate place and I'm willing to meet it head on if it means escaping him and the alien sensations he stirs deep in my gut, where light and truth cannot touch them.RakuShe is my Xiveri mate, yet she runs from me - straight into the horrors of her savage moon colony. Does she not know that I would slaughter in her defense? Nox, she does not.My brilliant hybrid thinks herself a slave - my slave - and in place of acceptance, offers me only pacts and bargains. Shamed by her pacts, I still take them all gluttonously, because she is mine. My hybrid, my Xiveri mate, Voraxia's queen and mine to worship. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

Fantastic world-building and characters. I liked watching the relationship grow as the characters learned about each other. The names we're a little hard to wrap my head around and keep straight.
I was a little confused if pregnancy killed the women why everyone was in hot pursuit to claim the women to breed. Still a great start to the series. I'll look doe more from this author. ( )
