In this 3rd Book of the Heart of the Family series, It begins with an unneeded amount of bad language, sexuality, and explicitness, yet, the story-line after the first few pages was quite good. It had less explicitness than the prior book in this series and a more intense content..
This is a story of "love at first sight", but includes some twists, trauma, bitter-sweet dilemmas but fails to have a strong ending.
The characters are very well developed and the reader can feel the emotions portrayed by the characters. There were a couple of sensitive subjects in which a box of Kleenex came in handy. The scenes are well described and easily visualized but a few ended too abruptly for this reader's preference.
The Narrator, Lisa Beacom, gave a very good performance in narration,
