One of the best student manuals I have worked with. Very clear information and instruction, suitable for young musicians, but not "talking down" to adults.
Each chapter builds on the one before, and there are self-tests at the end of each.

Having been a vocalist for 50 years, and playing a variety of instruments, I took up ukulele a year ago.
I knew most of the basic music theory presented in the book, and got it mostly for the explanation of chord construction and progressions, along with the charts.

Passed it along to my teacher with a recommendation to use if for her beginning and intermediate students. ( )
