I was looking forward to this read but honestly found it a little long! I did take a few days break and then come back to finish it!

It was sappy and sweet, with some angst about people finding out. This is a solid 3 star read but not my favourite book by this author ( )

A cute sports romance.
Connected to The Rivalry as it's set in the same team and Sam and Heath play a part in this story.
Age gap of 14 years but Jamie seems very mature for his age. It's a sweet story with a strong romance and solid football plot. This is unusual for a football story in that it dealt with kickers rather than one of the more glamorous positions. I really felt for Neal and was angry at the way he was treated.
For the sports shy, I don't know much about American football but I didn't find the sports sections overwhelming.
