This collection isn't bad, but I really was not overly impressed with Frank Sewell's translations. If you have read this and weren't blown away, I would like to recommend that you pick up a copy of Ó Searcaigh's 1993 collection, "Homecoming: Selected Poems" / "An Bealach 'na Bhaile: Rogha Dánta". That volume features translations by many different authors, and is a more diverse and, (I believe), enjoyable read. Similarly, if you are thinking of reading this and do not read Irish, I would recommend the aforementioned collection instead. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
