However, it was confusing at times with secrets hinted about but never revealed...to the detriment of the story line. Deze bespreking was geschreven voorLibraryThing lid Weggevers. It took me a few chapters to get into it but i enjoyed the love story that it was. some places were predictable but the flow lead me to a nice happy everafter.carmenmaranda Deze bespreking was geschreven voorLibraryThing lid Weggevers. I found this story a little slow to start but then it took off and moved along quickly. I found the storyline interesting and the use of a classic fairy tale to be exciting. The idea for the book is interesting and the writing itself isn't bad. But I do feel it needs work in some areas.Mainly pacing and description. At first I thought maybe the author was going for a fairytale like style of prose. But I no longer think that is the case. I felt the pacing was a bit too fast and description was lacking in some areas. That all said, it wasn't a horrible book. And I truly feel that if the author keeps at writing they'll write something really good. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

The formatting of the actual words made it hard to know when a scene change was made. I would start reading and realize that it was another scene. I feel she could have used more chapters, or divided the scenes by wider spacing. I also had a bit of a problem with the 3rd person, present tense the writer used instead of the usual 3rd person, past tense. It made me a bit edgy. But this might just be her preference for this particular book.
The happy ever after ending was so sudden that it didn't allow me time to really feel their happiness. All the tension build-up to the climax was good, but the ending was so short. It made me think, what? That's it?
I am not sure how long Ms. Narendran has been writing, but she most certainly should keep writing and honing her skill. It was a pleasure to read the book and I hope that my review has been useful. ( )
