I am sitting here after reading this with my mind utterly blown, speechless, and unable to stop thinking about this book. It was a unique journey, one I did not see coming, and so gripping that my jaw is on the floor. We have Darcy who is suffering from some severe writer’s block and after her childhood trauma she still hasn’t really gotten over which is totally understandable, and I felt so bad for her. All her life she has struggled to find her place, survive, and build a life for herself. I felt so bad for her at times for everyone that had ever let her down especially towards the end when her best friend really takes advantage of her. Darcy knows she has a stalker, but the fear isn’t there she is more curious about him than anything, and this is where Reeve comes in. I don’t want to give too much away because this needs to be experienced by every reader because it is a masterpiece of thrills, suspense, and everything in between. I loved Reeve and my heart broke at times for them, but this author has taken something so unique and made it this beautiful steamy read that I really am going to go back through again and again to enjoy. It’s brilliant and beautiful in a tragic yet lovable experience!!! ( )

This book was a new author for me and I'd definitely give them another go. This book was not what I was expecting at all and the story was interesting. The flash back style was a little confusing and the way things were abruptly tied up with a bow was fairly jarring. I am however, always pleased to discover a new author that is pleasant to read. My reviews are a reminder to myself because I read so much on kindle now. Without holding the book and relating it to the cover I tend to get confused and start rereading stuff. ( )
