It's a really sweet story with a cute ending to a remarkably enchanting series about hedge witches and family. Every book had the central characters facing some truths about themselves. The central themes were honesty, love and family. Dante and Cully were truly adorable even if they were a bit frustrating. They just never said anything to each other about their feelings. They were always each other’s "most important person". they just never admitted it or made it official. Well, this is the story of how they finally do and I loved it. A nice ending to the series even if it was a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride to get there. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Dante Vianelli and Cully Cromwell have been in love since college, when Dante saved Cully from the world's worst roommate and introduced him to his friends. Seven years later, they're still roommates and they're still in love... but they've never become lovers. Now a catastrophic spell gone wrong has cut them off from their coven. Wandering their suburban prison alone, separated by the walls of their own minds and gaps in the space-time continuum, Cully and Dante are as stuck as they have been for the past seven years. And they'll remain lost in their memories--unless they confront the truths that kept them from taking the step from friends to lovers and trust their friends and coven to get them out. But it's easier said than done. Those walls didn't build themselves. Dante's great at denial, and Cully's short on trust. Can they do the work it will take to get into each other's arms and back to the sunlight where they belong? Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

The magic system in this world requires a lot from its users, and nothing is free, and every act has consequences, and intent is critical. Failure is nearly catastrophic. I've have been wondering how the author was going to convey something this confusingly twisted. For me, she succeeded; I could tell what was happening externally as Dante and Cully were lost, then began finding their way to each other. Nothing was easy, but every truth won them some ground, and I read the last half of this book without pause, and sat back, satisfied.
I want nothing more from a series than to have it end so satisfactorily. I am really hoping the side-friend bunch gets their own series next. :) ( )
