This is a well-written and accessible introduction to the Wars of the Roses. Each campaign is dealt with in a separate chapter with a couple of chapters looking at the politics and personalities involved. This form of military history is seen as being a little old fashioned but there is still a place for straightforward analysis of what happened when, and why it happened. A complex story well told (I couldn't put it down) without being swamped by political and economic detail. (
