This is a handbook for the Boy Scouts of America. This book has sections about fitness, first-aid, nature, leadership, and many other things. This book does not have to be only for Boy Scouts though. Any person can use it because it has all of the info you need for the outdoors. This book gives you important info on all things about being a better person, and the outdoors. This book can tell you about animal tracks, how to use tools, knots, and many other things. Of course it is all in there for the Boy Scouts to move up a rank but it really doesn't matter. They also give you recipes for cooking with only simple foods and spices.
I really like this book. It has all of the info you need for the outdoors. My favorite part in the book is the nature part because it gives you everything from animals to first-aid if you get bit, to trees. Since I am in Boy Scouts it is really useful for me. Also since I am in Boy Scouts I thought I should read the whole thing. I like looking at all of the awards in the back, it makes me want them more. I also like how this book is not just about the outdoors. It is also about leadership, citizenship, navigation, and other things. Even if you are not in Boy Scouts you can use this book for just basic info. ( )
