The Air I Breathe by Karen Baney is a nicely written, easy to read Christian contemporary fiction story. This is the first book in the Steadfast Love series. This story caught my attention from the very start and held it to the very end. This is a rather new author for me, and I really enjoy her writings. This story is filled with caring characters who have issues in their pasts. I enjoyed the friendships that formed and how the characters looked out for each other and prayed for each other. This story does mention alcohol and drug abuse, unplanned pregnancy and affairs, but it also shows through God’s love this is forgiven. I voluntarily recieved a complimentary copy of this book, this is my honest review geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Enter Matt Dixon, a financial analyst by day, seminary student, and intern at his church in his remaining time. As a roommate to Kyle, Kelly’s daughter’s father, he is the only one who can help Kelly when she has her first panic attack.
This book illustrates the costs and difficulties Christians can face daily. Karen Baney does an exceptional job creating characters I wanted to get to know and see overcome their past. Forgiveness is an easy word, but living it is much more difficult. This book will keep you reading with twists, turns, reconciliation, and more.
So, if you enjoy contemporary romances, check out The Air I Breathe by Karen Baney for yourself. I definitely recommend it. I personally recommend it and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. ( )
