I found the novel to be a captivating blend of fantasy, romance, and dystopian elements. Griffith's writing style is engaging, drawing readers into a world filled with demons, angels, and forbidden love.

The characters, especially Nash and Jovi, are well-developed and relatable, making it easy to become emotionally invested in their journey. I appreciated the detailed world-building and the way Griffith seamlessly weaves together different genres, creating a unique and immersive reading experience.

While I did find the pacing to be a bit fast at times, I was still engrossed in the story from beginning to end. ( )

I was really hoping I would like this book and I had a hard time staying focused on the story. I have the e-book version. I’m going to try getting the physical book as soon as I’m able too and I will give this book another try. And I’ll edit my review the. But for now I’m giving 3 stars. ( )

Cyberpunk, dystopia meets romance- lots of well placed humor as well, Wolf is the best character hands down. I would love to see either a prequel or a full novel of Nora getting together/back together with Dinitri ( )

Holy Smoke is a steamy, fast-paced, forbidden lovers fantasy novel. I thought it was well-written and quite detailed, allowing the reader to be submerged in Griffith's world of demons and angels. The main characters Nash and Jovi are well-developed, interesting, and relatable. I only wish that there was a bit more of a slow burn throughout the novel but otherwise an entertaining read! I look forward to reading what Griffith writes next! ( )
