Marriage is a journey and I feel as though this book wants to help you make sure you have a good one! As it says right in the beginning, this isn't a book you "read" - it's advice to help you practice working towards a strong marriage. Interesting discussions at the end, whether or not they apply to us it's thought-provoking to consider. I will keep this handbook to refer to as needed and also as the author says, to be the best partner I can. I would recommend it! ( )

I was given a free copy of "The Best Little Marriage Handbook: A Powerhouse of Great Discussions" via LibraryThing. This was a well written book by William Monette. The book is not very long, but it has a lot of great information that is delivered in easy-to-understand language. There are many many enlightening discussion questions that a couple can pick to help guide them to a better relationship. ( )

A good handbook that delves into the way communication can have such an enormous impact on relationships. Full of useful tips and advice and doesn't shy away from the harder topics to overcome such as interrupting and getting the last word in.
Would be a good read for any relationship, not just a married couple. ( )
