Excellent history of the labor movement and how the worker has been sold out by their employers with the backing of the government through the violent use of police/militia/military. Yellen digs deep into many sources to show the concerted effort of the press, local governments, state militia, and the federal military at breaking the stricking workers who are trying to get out from under a master/slave like bondage by trying to get labor unions recognized as the workers legal representives. You'll not read this history in your classroom history books. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
