Edsel the Elephant wants to help people and meets three monkeys hanging from a tree. One is blind and needed his help down by using his trunk. Edsel offers the monkey, Little Orville, for him to stay on his back and ride around. Edsel becomes Little Orville's four feet, he swings on this trunk, eats and sleeps on his back, and guide him with his eyes. They form a special friendship. The moral of the story is "do you know someone you can help in any way?" Edsel shares his ability to see with Little Orville and makes a big difference in his life. This book is great to read to primary level students and talk about sharing and helping one another. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
