The title story is about a mobile phone that receives calls from the dead. The other is about a Victorian bath with a grisly history. Horowitz shows his characteristic directness. ( ) 2 short stories – The Phone goes dead and Bath Night. First is very quirky – after someone dies while on a mobile phone (struck by lightning) David starts getting phone calls from dead people asking for messages to be put to the living. Bath Night is pure horror – a murderer chopped up his victims in the bath – now Isabel can’t take a bath without seeing grisly images and hearing his voice. Very gory.p.16 – 20The first phone call. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
