Good, kind of slow in spots but kept my attention pretty well ( ) This book makes more sense after reading the other book by the same author. Otherwise, it just reads like her rationalisation why falling in love with someone is a good reason to leave everything. She hints at other reasons why she left, but keeps coming back to the same reason. The book would better be put into the category of 'things we do for love' rather than anything regarding Amish life. Read if you are interested in autobiographies, love stories, and adapting to other cultures. Skip if it's Amish society you're looking for. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
